The International Internship Program within the UW-Madisonís Division of International Studies aims to develop a global talent pool to serve the needs of state/national/international employers. The program assists students interested in overseas or internationally-focused work opportunities, paid and unpaid, by developing & promoting internship opportunities, placing students in the internships, and preparing them for the experience. It is the place for employers to come to find students with global skills such as foreign language proficiency, cross-cultural communication skills, an understanding of the global economy and international standards, in addition to their discipline-specific expertise.
