Within the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine & Public Health, the Academic and Career Advising Program (ACAP) is a comprehensive, faculty-driven program that addresses academic and career advising needs of medical students, residents, and alumni. Through ACAP, medical students have access to a variety of faculty and staff career development resources including emeritus faculty, academic staff, basic science & clinical faculty members, Student Academic Support Services office, research mentors, and alumni volunteers. ACAP addresses the full spectrum of academic & career development issues and serves as a referral and networking hub to connect students with other clinical faculty, especially in areas of medical specialty interest.
